He also chairs the Public Law Section of the Victorian Commercial Bar Association.
Extended Biography:
Before coming to the bar, Emrys worked for Emilios Kyrou (now Justice Kyrou) as a solicitor in the litigation group at King & Wood Mallesons (then Mallesons Stephen Jaques).
He has a BA/LLB from the University of Melbourne and an LLM (Government and Commercial) from the Australian National University.
He read with Jason Pizer (now QC) and his senior mentor was Debra Mortimer SC (now Justice Mortimer).
Emrys is a founding member of Koiki Mabo Chambers. Before that, he was a member of Level 22, Owen Dixon Chambers West, from its inception in 2014 until 2023.
